This is a report of a case of extension of an epithelioid sarcoma into the medullary cavity-a fact that may alter the relatively good prognosis of this entity, and seems not to have been reported previously. It is important to add epithelial sarcoma to the differential diagnosis of tumor masses on the extremities. A cure may be achieved by wide local excision at an early stage of the disease.
