Abstract

The unit activity of the rabbit medial preoptic area was studied during perfusion of the external pectoral vein with the Ringer-Lokk solution at different temperatures. 10 of the 34 neurons reacted increasing their firing rate at 25-34 degrees C and decreasing it at 38-42 degrees C. We think that increasing of tonic impulsation from the hypodermic veins' receptors by cooling increases the activity of single neurons of the medial preoptic area.

在不同温度下用林格-洛克溶液灌注兔胸外静脉时,研究了兔内侧视前区的单位活动。34个神经元中有10个在25 - 34摄氏度时放电频率增加,在38 - 42摄氏度时放电频率降低。我们认为,通过降温增加皮下静脉受体的紧张性冲动会增加内侧视前区单个神经元的活动。
