Abstract
With the aid of autoradiography, the effect of insulin on entering S- from G1-period of the mitotic cycle and on the rate of DNA synthesis of the mouse fibroblasts (L), was studied,--in the cells incubated for 24 hr in serum-free medium. In these conditions the cells were temporarily blocked in G1-period. Insulin (100 mcU/ml) increased by 1.5-fold the amount of cells in S-period as well as caused a marked stimulation of DNA synthesis.

借助放射自显影技术，研究了胰岛素对小鼠成纤维细胞（L）从有丝分裂周期的G1期进入S期以及对DNA合成速率的影响，这些细胞在无血清培养基中培养24小时。在这些条件下，细胞暂时停滞在G1期。胰岛素（100毫微单位/毫升）使处于S期的细胞数量增加了1.5倍，并显著刺激了DNA合成。
