[A review on TCM literatures of Ming - Qing periods].

A systematic review is made on TCM literatures of Ming - Qing periods on the following aspects, including clinical literature, popularization, variorum, literature studies and features of outward appearance. The causes of the overall development of TCM literatures, and its promotion on TCM scholarship are also discussed. It is pointed out that the TCM literatures, being the main body of TCM literature as a whole, should become the main goal for modern studies. The books mentioned here are arranged in chronological order of its writing dates.
