[Professor Zbigniew Garnuszewski - a worthy donor of the central medical library].

The author presents the origin of medical museums in Poland and their present state and acknowledges the work of professor Garnuszewski's in setting up the museum of phthisiology. The exhibits gathered during the professor's stay in Szczecin and eventually taken to Warsaw, make a unique collection of European standard. Its part was given in 1989 to the Pomeranian Medical Academy and initiated its museum. The remaining 40% is in the central medical library in Warsaw. The paper presents the later part of the exhibit.
