Abstract
Several interrelated instances of unethical conduct in mental health professionals, occurring at a psychiatric hospital, serve to highlight the importance of the traditional ethical canons in our field. The impact of ethical breaches upon psychotherapy are exemplified and discussed; suggestions for appropriate administrative measures in dealing with such incidents are outlined.
