[On the marriage of Louis-Claude Cadet de Gassicourt and the birth of his son Charles-Louis].

Presentation of the birth certificate of Charles-Louis Cadet de Gassicourt (1769-1821) and of the marriage contract of Louis-Claude Cadet de Gassicourt (1731-1799), his "official" father, establishing that the marriage took place two years after the birth, contrary to that which has been affirmed by various authors and correcting other erroneous information originating from the memoires of baron Thiébault.
