Intramuscular ketamine, in a dose of 3 to 5 mg./kg. of body weight, associated with succinylcholine or halothane when necessary, was found to provide satisfactory anesthetic and operating conditions for dental extractions or surgery in 92 mentally or physically handicapped pediatric outpatients.
