To study the cytochrome P450 2C19(CYP2C19) gene polymorphism in 4 Chinese nationality populations.
The genotypes of the unrelated Miao, Buyi, Tu and Dulong subjects were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP).
CYP2C19*2 allele frequencies were 0.291, 0.329, 0.315 and 0.349 in Miao, Buyi, Tu and Dulong population, respectively. The four populations were consistent with Hardy-Weinberg expectations (P>0.05).
The frequencies of CYP2C19*2 were in agreement with those of other published data on Asian, but were different from those data on European and African.

采用聚合酶链反应和限制性片段长度多态性（RFLP）分析苗族、布依族、土族和独龙族无关个体的基因型。
苗族、布依族、土族和独龙族人群中CYP2C19*2等位基因频率分别为0.291、0.329、0.315和0.349。这四个人群符合哈迪-温伯格平衡（P>0.05）。
CYP2C19*2的频率与其他已发表的亚洲人群数据一致，但与欧洲和非洲人群的数据不同。
