Although 10 years ago there was a crucial nursing shortage, Taiwan is currently experiencing an oversupply due to recent education reforms. Many new junior colleges have now been approved to take nursing courses. Taiwanese nurses are graduating at greater numbers than are leaving the profession, causing an ever increasing surplus.
尽管10年前存在严重的护理人员短缺问题，但由于最近的教育改革，台湾目前正面临供应过剩的情况。现在许多新的专科学校已被批准开设护理课程。台湾护士毕业人数超过离职人数，导致过剩情况日益加剧。
