Adult cats were subjected to monocular light deprivation for periods ranging from 12 to 20 days. Deprivation resulted in a significant decrease in the slope of the dark-adapted b-wave amplitude-luminance (input-output) function, as well as what appears to be a truncatee amplitude-luminance function, it is exaggerated in the light-deprived eye.
