A method involving use of a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-containing medium and a single coverslip is described for permanent mounting of helminth eggs. This simple method, which avoids some disadvantages of double-coverslip methods, can be applied for mounting different helminth eggs, especially in teaching laboratories.
