The authors present a case with placenta percreta demonstrated with massive intraabdominal haemorrhage in the second trimester of pregnancy. Supravaginal hysterectomy has been performed. The possibilities of early diagnosis of this life threatening condition and the current knowledge about the problem are discussed.
