Multifocal carcinoma of the large intestine.

Five cases of multifocal carcinoma of the large intestine are described, including one multifocal recurrence, the only one described in the literature. All of them were recognised radiologically before operation. The importance of a thorough examination of the whole colon in suspected cases is stressed, even when a single lesion has been demonstrated.
