[Clinical picture and treatment of carcinoid of the appendix].

The clinical syndrome of a carcinoid tumor of the appendix is presented in 7 such cases. In spite of its slow growth and late metastatic dissemination iliocoecal resection must be performed dependent on the extent and location of the tumor.
