Solving maintenance problems on older prostheses is a constant challenge. Many times, the clinician is faced with recurrent decay around an abutment of a fixed restoration. It is not always feasible to redo the entire restoration. This article shows the clinician how to fabricate an esthetic telescope over the decayed abutment while preserving the existing fixed restoration.
