[Protection of the operating field in thoracic surgery using membrane-forming spray dressing].

Abstract
Considerable decrease of the incidence of purulent complications was observed when using the membrane-forming spray dressing to protect the operating field in thoracic surgery. It is concluded that the use of these dressings in surgery is a simple and effective method to prevent complications of wound healing.
