This article discusses the properties of condensable composites and how their filler particles are continually being improved to create an updated, advanced tooth-colored material that can be packed with the same clinical success as amalgam in posterior restorations. Many dental companies are now addressing the major concerns of shrinkage, polishability, and discoloration that inundated previous composites by introducing the next generation of condensable composites.
