In our ambulance 703 women using oral contraceptives were repeatedly tested of urinary tract infections since november 1973. 18 of them (2,56%) showed urinary tract infections. There is no reason to accept an ince rase of urinary tract infections by oral contraception. The relations to the duration of the application, to the age and to the urological anamnese of the patients are discussed.
