Internal migration in the Philippines during the 1960s.

"This paper presents a regression analysis describing some of the determinants of various types of migratory flows between and within urban and rural areas in the Philippines during the 1960s.... The individual characteristics of migrants are analysed independently from the effects of macro-economic variables, in consideration of the estimation problems raised if both were combined into a single equation model." A model is developed to allow for the estimation of the consequences of migration at places of origin and destination
