Abstract

Amino acid composition was determined in the cells of Candida utilis VKM Y-1668 growing in the regime of chemostat. The growth was inhibited by pH of the medium, copper and silver ions, and glycerol deficiency as a control. Some specific differences have been found in the amino acid composition of the yeast depending on the nature of the inhibitor.
