The 2001 IAHSS survey--crime in hospitals.

The 2001 IAHSS crime survey involved the participation of more hospitals--295--than in any of the past ten years. The lower levels of Larceny Theft revealed in prior surveys continued in 2001. In five of the seven categories of violent crime, however, per hospital increases in incidents were reported, with sharp increases in Robbery and Aggravated Assaults.
