[Surgical treatment of external pancreatic fistulas].

An analysis was performed of surgical treatment of 27 patients presenting with fibrodegenerative form of chronic pancreatitis complicated by the presence of an external pancreatic fistula. A diagnostic algoryhthm has been developed permitting the determination of necessity to use surgical intervention prior to conservative treatment. Tactical approaches are set down to be used in a surgical treatment of the above patients.
