Abstract

With the primary cultured cerebral cortex neurons of human fetus, studies were made to investigate the effect of zinc on the growth of neurons by using immunohistochemical stain and image analysis. The main results were as follows: (1) The growth of neurons of zinc group was the most prosperous at the 10-14 day of primary culture. The number of survival neurons was increased at the 1-28 day of culture (P < 0.01). (2) In the presence of zinc, the number and the length of neurites as well as the soma areas were all increased remarkably(P < 0.01). It was concluded that zinc could promote the growth of neurons.

摘要

以人胎儿原代培养大脑皮层神经元为研究对象,运用免疫组织化学染色及图像分析技术,探讨锌对神经元生长的影响。主要结果如下:(1)锌组神经元在原代培养第10 - 14天生长最为旺盛,培养1 - 28天存活神经元数量增加(P < 0.01)。(2)在有锌存在的情况下,神经突的数量、长度以及胞体面积均显著增加(P < 0.01)。结论为锌可促进神经元生长。
