Wireless computing and health care.

Wireless computing technology has progressed sufficiently that it is now being incorporated into health care communications. These advances are linked to major improvements in general computer capabilities, the introduction of global satellite systems, and changes in government regulation of airwave access. This article describes some of these advances and their application in health care settings.
