Rectourethral fistula is a rare complication of prostatic surgery and other pelvic procedures. We report our experience of surgical repair of using a rectal advancement flap.
Three patients with rectourethral fistula following prostatic surgery were treated. Two patients had an anterior partial thickness of rectal flap advancement via a trans-anal approach without urinary or faecal diversion. In one patient a rectal flap repair was performed through a posterior transsphincteric approach following urinary and faecal diversion.
No significant postoperative complications occurred. Healing was successful in each patient and faecal and urinary continence was normal.
Transanal rectal advancement flap is a simple and effective technique for the treatment of a rectourethral fistula with no need for urinary or faecal diversion.
直肠尿道瘘是前列腺手术及其他盆腔手术罕见的并发症。我们报告应用直肠推进皮瓣进行手术修复的经验。
3例前列腺手术后发生直肠尿道瘘的患者接受了治疗。2例患者经肛门途径行直肠皮瓣部分厚度向前推进，未行尿液或粪便转流。1例患者在尿液和粪便转流后经后括约肌间途径进行直肠皮瓣修复。
术后无明显并发症发生。每位患者均愈合成功，粪便及尿液控尿功能正常。
经肛门直肠推进皮瓣是治疗直肠尿道瘘的一种简单有效的技术，无需尿液或粪便转流。
