To evaluate the results of cataract surgery in previously vitrectomized eyes.
In 41 eyes, that had undergone prior vitrectomy, extracapsular cataract extraction was done and intraocular lens was implanted. The average time between operations was 14.5 months (range from 2 months to 6 years). The mean follow-up was 19 +/- 12.2 months (range from 4 months to 4 years).
Statistically significant improvement was observed in visual acuity after cataract extraction and IOL implantation, compared to the results after vitrectomy. The most frequent complication was posterior capsule opacification, which occurred in 9 eyes (22%).
The results show, that intraocular lens implantation in eyes after vitrectomy is safe and achieved visual acuity is similar or better, than before cataract formation.
评估白内障手术在既往接受过玻璃体切割术的眼中的效果。
对41只既往接受过玻璃体切割术的眼睛进行了白内障囊外摘除术并植入人工晶状体。两次手术之间的平均时间为14.5个月（范围从2个月至6年）。平均随访时间为19±12.2个月（范围从4个月至4年）。
与玻璃体切割术后的结果相比，白内障摘除及人工晶状体植入术后视力有统计学意义的改善。最常见的并发症是后囊膜混浊，发生在9只眼（22%）。
结果表明，玻璃体切割术后的眼睛植入人工晶状体是安全的，且获得的视力与白内障形成前相似或更好。
