Development of endotoxin shock in rats is accompanied by decreasing dry mass and content of dense substances in red blood cells. Endotoxin reduces circulating iron concentration as well. During endotoxin administration morphological changes of erythrocytes become stable, appearance of echinocytes promotes elevation of hemostatic potential and enhancement of blood cells aggregability.
