Extracts from different parts of plants (1) including seeds are reported to act upon pathogenic microorganisms. A few active principles were isolated. The present preliminary report shows significant role of the seeds of Dolichos biflorus (Linn), locally known as Kulthi, against some test organisms using different fractions of defatted seed extracts with methanol.
据报道，从包括种子在内的植物不同部位提取的提取物对病原微生物有作用。已分离出一些活性成分。本初步报告表明，当地称为库尔蒂的双花扁豆（豆科）种子，使用脱脂种子甲醇提取物的不同馏分，对一些受试生物具有显著作用。
