An assessment of the course of pregnancy, labour and perinatal outcome in obese women was performed.
127 obese (BMI > 27) and 1315 non-obese healthy women with singleton pregnancy were compared. All the women gave birth in 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical University in Warsaw.
Weight gain during pregnancy was markedly lower in obese women. The total percentage of gestational complications was significantly higher in pre-pregnancy obese women as well as the rate of cesarean deliveries. The birth weight and neonatal outcome was similar in analyzed groups.
Pregnancy in obese women is associated with increased risk of complications reflecting the higher rate of cesarean deliveries.
对肥胖女性的妊娠过程、分娩及围产期结局进行了评估。
比较了127例肥胖(BMI>27)单胎妊娠的健康女性和1315例非肥胖健康女性。所有女性均在华沙医科大学第一妇产科分娩。
肥胖女性孕期体重增加明显较低。孕前肥胖女性的妊娠并发症总百分比以及剖宫产率显著更高。分析组的出生体重和新生儿结局相似。
肥胖女性妊娠与并发症风险增加相关,这反映了剖宫产率较高。
