OBJECTIVE
To discuss the effect of primary anterior debridement, interbody autografting, and anterior internal fixation on the surgical management of thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis.
METHODS
Ninety-one cases of thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis were treated with primary anterior debridement, interbody autografting, and anterior internal fixation.
RESULTS
All cases were treated without any recurrence after follow-up for an average of 13 months. Spinal fusion occurred in 3.7 months on average with 20 degree of kyphosis correction achieved after surgery and 95.5% of the patients obtained good results.
CONCLUSION
Primary anterior debridement, interbody autografting, and anterior internal fixation for the surgical management of thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis are safe and effective and play an important role in reconstruction of spinal stability.
目的
探讨一期前路病灶清除、椎间自体骨移植及前路内固定在胸腰椎脊柱结核手术治疗中的作用。
方法
91例胸腰椎脊柱结核患者接受了一期前路病灶清除、椎间自体骨移植及前路内固定治疗。
结果
所有病例平均随访13个月均无复发。平均3.7个月实现脊柱融合，术后后凸畸形矫正20度，95.5%的患者取得良好效果。
结论
一期前路病灶清除、椎间自体骨移植及前路内固定治疗胸腰椎脊柱结核安全有效，在重建脊柱稳定性方面发挥重要作用。
