Abstract
New lining materials has been developed from calcium hydroxide, zinc oxide-eugenol and glass ionomers. This provides the dental practitioner with a wide choice of materials to use for protection of the pulpodentinal complex. In this paper their characteristics are reviewed and recommendations are made for their use.
