During the long-term sensitization in a snail there occurs an enhancement of a defensive reaction and a significant decrease of food intake. Defensive conditioning is facilitated and feeding conditioning deteriorated. The results give evidence that a formation of the state of the long-term sensitization is accompanied by a generation of a dominant defense focus.
