It is reported about unknown cells, looking like ciliates, found in the Douglas exudate in women with uncharacteristic pains in the lower abdomen. These self-moving cells were found in 10 out of 48 patients. The clinical results are discussed. There is a possibility that these cells are responsible as well for the uncharacteristic pains in the abdomen as perhaps for the infertility of the patient.
