A solitary metastasis of the patella.

A case is reported of a solitary metastasis of the patella from a "poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma", the first sign of the primitive tumour for a long time unidentified. The authors point out that this occurrence, although rare, should be considered in the differential diagnosis of knee pain.
