Immunological processes have been increasingly gaining in importance in the development and proliferation of tumours inhuman. Quantitative determinations of immunoglobulins IgG and IgA in the saliva of patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral mucosa showed a significant difference in IgG concentration as compared with patients affected with inflammatory intraoral diseases.
