We report one case of pregnancy in a non-oriental woman who had Takayashu's disease. Pregnancy was characterised by toxemia and caesarean section had to be carried out at 31 weeks because of fetal distress. The disease did not worsen and nor were there any maternal complications but the child died on the 7th day.
