Abstract

We showed that 6R-BH4, a natural cofactor for aromatic amino acids hydroxylases, can stimulate exocytotic DA release independently of its cofactor activity, and ACh release via monoaminergic system. From these results, it is quite likely that 6R-BH4 plays an important role in the regulation of neuronal activity, as a modulator of neurotransmitter release as well as a cofactor for hydroxylases.

摘要

我们发现,芳香族氨基酸羟化酶的天然辅助因子6R-四氢生物蝶呤,可独立于其辅助因子活性刺激多巴胺的胞吐释放,并通过单胺能系统刺激乙酰胆碱释放。从这些结果来看,6R-四氢生物蝶呤很可能作为神经递质释放的调节剂以及羟化酶的辅助因子,在神经元活动调节中发挥重要作用。
