Abstract

Electrophysiological charact eristics of frog intrafusal muscle fibers were studied by means of the intracellular potential recording. Analysis of distribution of the amplitude of miniature postsynaptic potentials suggests the nonuniformity of the intrafusal muscle fibers. A conclusion was drawn on the presence of three types of intrafasal muscle fibers in frog muscle spindle: single-innervated, multiple innervated, and fibers with both types of innervation.
