Abstract

The following case report describes the development of laryngeal cancer of a non-smoker exposed to tar-emissions due to working with asphalt. Additionally, a basal cell carcinoma in the face caused by tar-emission underlines the role of this risk factor in the development of cancer in the head and neck.
