Abstract
The therapeutical results obtained in an epidemical outbreak of dysentery caused by Shigella flexneri type 2 A are reported, emphasizing the bacteriological failure of the treatment with Furazolidin in 52.1% of the cases and the good results obtained with Neomycin (Mycerine).
