The authors emphasize that cermet and metal plastic dentures should be widely used in practical orthodontics. They suggest new approaches to the selection of indications for the tooth preparation to cast dentures in view of the necessity of coating these dentures. The shortcomings of dentures with titanium nitride coating are disclosed.
