Multiorgan involvement is often seen in Legionella infections. We report two cases, with classical pneumonia complicated by facial paresis and severe kidney affection demanding haemodialysis. One patient had Legionella infection concomitantly with pneumococcal pneumonia. As the diagnosis often is not verified till weeks after onset of illness, it is concluded that the treatment should be started and maintained on clinical suspicion. Isolation of another respiratory pathogen does not exclude the possibility of Legionella infection.
