Cross-linking of minor subunits in the adenosine triphosphatase of rat liver mitochondria.

The subunits of the purified ATPase of rat liver mitochondria were cross-linked with the cleavable disulfide crosslinking reagent dithiobis(succinimidyl propionate). Besides cross-linking of the major (alpha,beta) subunits interactions between beta and gamma and between gamma and epsilon subunits were observed.
