In this paper author described the significance of vestibular symptoms post stapedectomy in postoperative hearing improvement. Vertigo post stapedectomy was noted and spontaneous nystagmus, positional nystagmus and directional preponderance were examined. Postoperative hearing improvement in patients with and without vestibular symptoms was compared. Author maintained that recent symptoms of peripheral vestibular disfunction had made no difference in postoperative hearing improvement.
在本文中，作者描述了镫骨切除术后前庭症状对术后听力改善的意义。记录了镫骨切除术后的眩晕情况，并检查了自发性眼球震颤、位置性眼球震颤和优势偏向。比较了有前庭症状和无前庭症状患者的术后听力改善情况。作者认为近期外周前庭功能障碍症状对术后听力改善并无影响。
