Reduced intensity stem cell transplantation (RIST), so-called mini-transplant, has been applied and proved to be feasible in several non-malignant diseases, including congenital immunodeficiency syndromes, thalassemia and sickle cell anemia in recent years. Although RIST has several advantages especially in those with organ dysfunction, optimum regimens have not been established. Therefore, prospective study to explore the drug combination and dosage should be planned.
