Intrauterine device may perforate the uterus and cause several complications.
To report a case of laparoscopic treatment of peri-appendicitis caused by intrauterine device.
A young female presented with pain in the right lower abdomen of 4 days of duration. On the physical examination, she had localized abdominal pain in the right lower abdomen with discrete guarding and pain on percussion and rebound tenderness. Ultrasonography showed an intrauterine device outside of the uterus, in the right lower of the abdomen.
At laparoscopy, an inflammatory mass that consisted of the intrauterine device blocked by the mesoappendix and the appendix was observed. Appendectomy and removal of the intrauterine device were performed.
Laparoscopy allows adequate treatment of peri-appendicitis caused by intrauterine device, inclusive with complete evaluation of the entire pelvic region to rule out associated complications

报告一例腹腔镜治疗宫内节育器所致阑尾周围炎的病例。
一名年轻女性，右下腹痛4天。体格检查时，右下腹部有局限性腹痛，伴有明显的压痛和叩击痛及反跳痛。超声检查显示宫内节育器位于子宫外，右下腹。
腹腔镜检查时，观察到一个炎性肿块，由被阑尾系膜包裹的宫内节育器和阑尾组成。进行了阑尾切除术和宫内节育器取出术。
腹腔镜检查能够充分治疗宫内节育器所致阑尾周围炎，包括对整个盆腔区域进行全面评估以排除相关并发症。
