The source of development of neurofibromas, their incidence, tendency for recurrences and malignant transformation are reviewed. The main signs of von Recklinghausen disease and the difficulties in its diagnosis are discussed. A case of faciocervical neurofibromatosis with recurrences is presented stressing the importance of adequate therapeutic-prophylactic management is stressed, in view of increased predisposition to recurrences and malignant transformation.
本文综述了神经纤维瘤的发生来源、发病率、复发倾向及恶变情况。讨论了冯雷克林霍增氏病的主要体征及其诊断难点。报告了1例伴有复发的面颈部神经纤维瘤病病例，鉴于复发和恶变倾向增加，强调了适当的治疗-预防管理的重要性。
