To study and to review the squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate (SCCP).
We report one case of squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate.
A 78-year-old patient was diagnosed of having a squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate. Clinically, the patient presented with severe irritative lower urinary tract symptoms. Treatment was performed by local radiotherapy and response was poor, as it usually happens in this type of tumors. Patient survived seven months after diagnosis. We present the clinical case and a bibliographic review.
SCCP is a rare, difficult to diagnose and poor in prognosis tumor with very few therapeutic options.

我们报告一例前列腺鳞状细胞癌病例。
一名78岁患者被诊断为前列腺鳞状细胞癌。临床上，患者表现出严重的刺激性下尿路症状。采用局部放疗进行治疗，反应不佳，此类肿瘤通常如此。患者在诊断后存活了七个月。我们展示该临床病例并进行文献综述。
前列腺鳞状细胞癌是一种罕见、难以诊断且预后较差的肿瘤，治疗选择非常有限。
