A number of physical problems arising in studies of the relationship between the structure and function of natural peptide molecules consisting of 2-50 amino acid residues were considered. Among these are the determination of functionally significant sizes of molecules and their configurations, a search for general principles of classification, and a study of the mechanisms of delivery of oligopeptide molecules and their binding to receptor structures. The natural concentrations and coefficients of diffusion of oligopeptides were compared with the time of their real functioning. The solubility of these and other problems was assessed.
